Biography:
Zhou Hui, PhD in Engineering, Master’s Supervisor. He is a key research member of the State Key Laboratory of Precision Blasting at Jianghan University. He received his doctoral training under the supervision of Academician Ren Huiqi. His research mainly focuses on the mechanical behavior of media under blast loading. During his PhD study, he was jointly trained at the Institute of Engineering Protection, Defense Engineering Research Institute, Academy of Military Sciences, and participated in a number of key military research projects.He currently presides over the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Program of the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Youth Talent Project of the Scientific Research Program of Hubei Provincial Department of Education, a core supporting project funded by the Open Fund of the State Key Laboratory of Target Vulnerability Assessment, and the High-level Talent Research Startup Fund of Jianghan University. He has published more than 20 academic papers in high-quality journals including Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, Engineering Failure Analysis, Explosion and Shock Waves, and Construction and Building Materials. He has been granted 4 patents as the first inventor.
