Basic Information

Dr. Prof. Nan Jiang, the recipient of the Hubei Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Explosion Mechanics at the State Key Laboratory of Precision Blasting, Jianghan University, while holding professional affiliations as an expert in the China Blasting Industry Expert Database, committee member of the Rock Dynamics Committee under the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering, and editorial board member of the journal Blasting. His primary research focuses on blasting dynamic effect control and rock dynamics. Over the past five years, he has published 62 SCI papers (including 2 ESI highly cited papers) and 20 EI-indexed papers as first/corresponding author, obtained 8 invention patents , 12 utility model patents, and 4 software copyrights. Having led over 30 research projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and Hubei Natural Science Foundation, he has been honored with 7 scientific awards such as the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of Land and Resources, Shanxi Province, and Hubei Province, First Prize of Technological Invention and Science Progress Award from the China Society of Explosives and Blasting, and First Prize of Safety Production Science Progress Award from the China Association of Work Safety. Additionally, he has authored 2 textbooks and 1 academic monograph.
